Cheap PokéCoins via India App Store (2025/2026 Method)

Works easily on iOS • No new device needed after setup • Reversible

Requirements

  • An old iPhone/iPad (or any spare Apple device) to receive 2FA codes
  • Amazon account (same one is fine – no new account needed)
  • Credit/debit card that works internationally

Step-by-Step Guide

  1. Create a new Indian iCloud Apple ID

    • On spare device → Settings → Sign out of current Apple ID if needed
    • Create new Apple ID → Set Region = India
    • Use a new email (can be Gmail +dots trick, etc.)

  2. Switch Media & Purchases to India on main phone (iPhone A)

    • On your main iPhone (A):
      • Settings → [Your Name] → Media & Purchases → View Account
      • Sign out → Sign in with the new Indian Apple ID
    • You’ll get a 6-digit 2FA code on your spare device (iPhone B) → approve it
    • Important: Your main iCloud stays US/your region – only Media & Purchases changes

  3. Verify in Pokémon GO

    • Open Pokémon GO → Shop
    • Prices should now show in INR ₹ (Indian Rupees)
    • Example (as of early 2026):
      • 14,500 PokéCoins → ₹2,899 (~$33–34 USD)
      • vs US price: $99.99

  4. Buy India App Store gift card via Amazon India

    • Open Amazon app on your phone
    • Tap You (bottom bar) → top-right flag → change to India / English
    • Search: apple store code or App Store & iTunes gift card
    • Buy exactly the amount you need (e.g. ₹2,899 or closest options)
    • Note: You must enter a credit card (saved US cards usually won’t carry over)

  5. Redeem the gift card code

    • Check your email for the claim code
    • On main iPhone (A):
      • Open App Store → tap profile circle (top-right)
      • Redeem Gift Card or Code → Enter Code Manually
    • ₹2,899 (or whatever amount) should now show as balance

  6. Buy the PokéCoins

    • Switch back to Pokémon GO
    • Confirm prices still in ₹
    • Purchase the bundle (e.g. 14,500 PokéCoins for ₹2,899)
    • It deducts from your Indian App Store balance → balance goes to ₹0

  7. Switch back to your normal region

    • Settings → [Your Name] → Media & Purchases → Sign out
    • Sign back in with your normal (US/your country) Apple ID
    • Pokémon GO shop will revert to normal prices/currency
